1st Day of Preschool

Sienna & I went to her school yesterday to meet her teacher, Miss Brenda, and get familiar with her classroom. The full-day kids were taking their naps so we couldn't really look around the classroom. Sienna saw them sleeping peacefully and stated (loudly) "Sienna's friends asleep!" Yes, sweetie, they are asleep so let's go outside and take our announcements elsewhere. ;)

Today we arrived at her class and she was so observant..."Sienna's friends awake!" Thank goodness she didn't have to spend her day with a bunch of tired toddlers.;)

This morning practicing her backpack skills. 

Color of the day was green. She wore green pajamas to get in the mood.   Hondo did not go to school with her...but he would have loved it. 

They had play-dough!

Excited after her first day and brought home her first official piece of artwork. ❤️ "A smile face"

Birthday prep with "Pinkles"

Tomorrow is Daddy's birthday so Sienna and I made cupcakes for the celebration. Jacob observed ;)

"Sienna taste!" "Mmmm, yummy!"

She decorated with sprinkles. Took some encouraging to get them onto the cupcake batter because "Sienna eat. Mmmm"

Happy 2nd Birthday Paw-ty

We celebrated a little early, but the birthday girl didn't care. Sienna had her party at the park with 7 of her friends. It was a dog-gone great time! 

Sienna woke to pink & yellow balloons in her room this morning. All I heard was "Wow!" from the monitor. I walked into her room to find her standing in the chair with some of the balloons. 

Dad built her a cardboard dog house for the party. She and I put those important girly touches on it this morning. 

Her first gift to open was from cousins Ellie, Avery & Jase. "Makeup??" Yes, makeup. And you can tell by Nonnie's face how realistic it looked. They sat on the floor and did eyes, cheeks, and lips over and over. 

Someone got to help (taste tester??) make sandwiches for the party at the park. 

A tunnel maze and a pink puppy were at the park to greet her. I think she found a new best friend. 

All the kids got to adopt 2 puppies and pick out collars/leashes for them. Then they stuffed their doggy bags with supplies for their new pooches and took them home.

Belated Easter Pkg

Monday she wore her ears almost all day! 

Yesterday I was putting clothes away and she saw this dress. She asked for it and held it up while repeating "soooo pretty". 

Swimming class yesterday. A little girl told her she looked like a mermaid. 

She asked for a "'moothie" for breakfast. 

She loves to decorate the window with the gel decals. She put them all up today then started counting them...

"one, two, three, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, DIEZ!"

She's getting it 😊
