9 MONTHS!

9 months old today!  

Sienna has taken her first steps, is standing very well on her own, and is constantly on the move.

Her first tooth started to poke through yesterday as well.  But her gummy grin hasn't kept her from eating pieces of real food...which she now prefers over the purees.  Anything she can do herself like a big girl she will do (or at least try).

Spoiled Girl

Sienna went to Miss Letty's house today and got to eat lunch ON the table ;)

Then when she and I were home we went for a long walk and Sienna got to sit in the leaves and crunch them in her hands...I think she would have stayed and done that all night if I didn't pick her up to head home once it was getting dark.

New Baby Dolls

Sienna got new baby dolls...twins.

Today we went to Letty's house for homemade chile rellenos!

Her family was there and it was a great afternoon.

Chica Go Go Goes to Music Class

I was really sick today so Letty and her daughter Crystal offered to take Sienna to music class today.

I immediately received text messages from my friends in class saying how cute she was.

Sienna went with me to run errands today before the Richards family arrived.  

She was NOT happy when I took her away from her steering wheel.

Chica Go Go...On the Go

This morning Sienna took her first solo steps!  

Dad was watching her while she was standing, holding onto her ballapalooza toy, and she let go and took 6-7 steps!  Then took a nice digger.  She is so eager to walk.  She'll crawl all the way across the room to someone then pull herself up on them and reach her hand up (to walk)...even though she could get there by crawling.  Silly girl.  

Can we say overachiever?  ;)

Standing by herself longer and longer each day.

I think she could go even longer if she didn't get so excited while she was doing it.

She starts giggling because she's so proud and then starts waving her hands :)

Dad and I went and played golf today so Sienna got to go to Miss Letty's house.

They LOVED her outfit.  Letty's daughter, Crystal, called Sienna her chica go go.

Letty's sister, Norma, had her grandson there.  Cesc is 5 months old, and as you can see from the pictures he's about the same size as Sienna.

After golf Letty's family invited us over for carne asada...it was delicious!
