Good Sleep, Good Day

Sienna woke up happy from her 2nd night in her big girl bed. She doesn't want to get out right away and climbs in whenever we enter her room.

Sitting in Miss Ashley's lap at music class.

The wagon is supposed to be an outside toy, but every day it make its way inside.

She discovered the secret stash of Ooh la la's that were packed for our Mexico trip.

At her "Boys!" house. We delivered cupcakes and Sienna played outside with Ty & Luke.

Practice for Mexico

4 more days until we leave for Puerto Vallarta! We went out for Mexican food and practiced our loud toy. I think she's ready!

Big Girl Big Bed

Dad went in to work late today so he could set up Sienna's big girl bed!

Dad and Sienna sat outside and watched the birds first thing this morning.

Dad put together the bed and Sienna kept asking to lay down and go to bed. She was so excited!

Finished product.

Her blankie and stuffed animals HAD to immediately be put in bed with her. So much room and so much fun!

Running to the other side since there's so much room! Oh my.

Finally...she stopped moving long enough to plop down and snuggle her blankie.

And quickly back up again.

Sound asleep for her first nap in HER bed. Success.

Sunday Funday

Another fun day while Dad was hitting the slopes in Mammoth.

After church Sienna and I went to the club to enjoy their final day of brunch. She played in the courtyard while we waited for Oma to arrive.

Whip cream, whip cream, and more whip cream. Quite the lunch ;) She did manage to get some waffle and fruit too...but this was the highlight. She couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough!

Such a nice afternoon so we turned on the hose and played in the water before nap time.

After nap it was back to work. She worked hard transferring the dogs water into the watering can.

Let's just say we went through a lot of shirts and socks today! And her new word was "wet!"

When Dad's Away....

The girls did play!

The fun started right away this morning. Sienna and I got up, wrapped up in blankets, and went outside to listen to all the birds and the neghbor's chickens wake up.  We beat the chickens...not even a peep from the coop! Then the fun continued from there...

We went to swimming class and got introduced to the "dock". The teacher said some kids are nervous to stand on it.  Pshhh...not this lil' monkey. She thought it was glorified water monkey bars!

After our nap (mom got a rest in too...yay!) she helped me get everything ready to wash the stinky dogs.

I dried Lily and she wanted to dry Hondo. He was so patient.

Then what else do you do after you're drenched from the hose...go play in the dirt of course!
Me:Do you want some shoes?
S: No
Me: Do you want a jacket?
S: No
Me: Do you need help getting down?
S: No no no!

I did convince her to come in and change clothes. Then we played asleep/awake.

After a snack we headed to the shoe store since her toes are at the end of her tennis shoes. She was in love with the sparkly big girl shoes and the shiny black patent leather dress shoes...she walked out, and was quite happy, with her new sparkly light-up sneakers! She wore them out of the store and played on the playground just outside.

Watching her shoes light up when she stomps her foot.

Friendly Gardens

Today we met up at the botanical gardens with a new friend of Sienna's from church, Gwen. The girls played hard all morning and both were ready to crash (and change clothes) by the time we left.

All ready! Bunny had to come for the car ride.

The most time was spent at the little river. The girls floated the boats down the river then Sienna filled the buckets and watered the rocks. No dry limbs after this stop!

Banging on the steel drum.

Sitting in the HUGE adorandeck chair with Gwen. The looked tiny!

Hugs from Gwen.

Helping water all the plants in the vegetable garden. The watering can emptied quickly and she found a little girl who could work the hose to fill it. "Mas?"

After the gardens we had to change out of our wet, dirty clothes and Sienna wanted her "eyes" on.
