Santa stopped at Grandma's!

Sienna went  right to bed when we got in last night so she didn't see her surprise until this morning.
Santa had made a stop at Grandma's with the toys that were too big to bring to Panama.
She was shocked...and didn't know where to begin!

Off to Montana!

All dressed and ready for the snow!  Sienna wore her snowgirl shirt and was in a great mood.  We had a VERY long day of flying...two connections in Dallas and Denver, and then arriving in Kalispell way after bed time.  Sienna was a trooper, but was definitely over flying once we hit Denver...poor girl.

Ready to head for the airport and
saying her goodbye's with Grandma Connie.

Cozy in her pajamas for the last leg of the flight.

Last Day in Panama

Our last day in Panama was a hot one.  We decided to head out and walk around the old part of town and do a little shopping.  We didn't have much luck and Sienna was hot and tired.  So back to the air conditioning we went!

All dressed and ready for town.

Waiting for a cab in the lobby.

It was supposed to be nap time, but someone else had a different agenda...

Final supper.  Oscar, Edith, Yvonne, Alice, Benjamin & Walter took us out for a great Italian dinner.  We got to celebrate Alice's birthday and there was even a mariachi band playing...in an Italian restaurant...in Panama ;)

Mini Panamanians

The grandmothers went shopping today and got all the great-grandchildren little
Panamanian outfits.  They all wore them to dinner.
We were definitely the best dressed group there!
Oscar, Edith and Yvonne joined us since it was our last supper with the entire group.
We ate at a seafood restaurant and Grandma Connie and Grandpa Al had lobster thermidore!!
MMMMMMMMM!!!

Sienna admiring cousin Hadley's shoes.

Two happy little Panamanians.

All four of the great-grandkids in their Panama attire.

4 generations.

A very happy Heim family sitting with Uncle Mike.

"THE" meal of the night...lobster thermidor.

New Friends

This morning at breakfast Sienna met two little girls from San Francisco.  The youngest came right over to Sienna to show her the doll she had.  Sienna was very impressed ;)
Then the girls all sat together and compared their feet with Sienna's.

4 generations at breakfast in Panama!

This afternoon Carl and I went to the local fish market for some of the BEST
ceviche!!  We tried 4 different kinds and then had a beer to wash it down.

7 MONTHS OLD!!

Yes.....it's December.
Yes......most of our friends and family are in cold climates right now.
Yes....it probably would have been more appropriate to have Sienna in a cute winter outfit.
BUT WE'RE IN PANAMA!!!  WOOOOHOOO!

What a blessed little girl.  She got to spend her month-day #7 in Panama outside by the pool.

Mmmmm...fruit.  And the hair just keeps having a mind of it's own :)

Our water baby!  She would have stayed in the water all day.

MERRY 1ST CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas morning!
Santa was able to find Sienna all the way down in Panama.  She put on her Rudolph slippers and sat on mom and dad's bed to look through her stocking.
The slippers passed the taste-test...as did all of her other gifts.

So many fun things!  Thank you Santa!

Ooooh, pretty new earrings.  Probably not what Santa had in mind,
but she'll appreciate getting jewelry some day soon.

 More jewelry...and more tasting.

Cozy with cousin Ruby in their matching pajamas.

Wyatt was able to shoot like Spider Man!

Looking at her "cousin blocks" from the Windsheimer family.
That one is Sienna!

Dressed and ready for her first bus ride!

Waiting for the bus with Grandpa Al.

On the top level of the double-decker bus!
The Lohrer family reserved us a private tour of the city for Christmas.
It was so much fun to have the bus all to ourselves and Sienna was a big fan of the open sides...
well, that and no carseat.  We may never get her in one again after this ;)

Santa wears board shorts in Panama!
He was at the hotel when we got home from our double-decker bus tour of Panama City.

Spending Christmas afternoon at the pool.  There were 5 different pools to choose from.
The one with the fountains was Sienna's favorite.

Eating her lunch down by the pool.
Mmmmm, peas.  Don't feel too sorry for her because she got some fresh papaya and watermelon
after she was done.

In her snowman pajamas from Grandma Connie.

"Sienna Marie Gustafson"...written right across her bum :)
