The Upper Peninsula of Michigan for you non-locals ;)
After the wedding weekend we headed to Ironwood and got to spend a couple days in Ironwood/Bessemer. We stayed with Uncle Dick & Aunt Cecilia and ALL of their dogs!
Jill & Sam made a special trip to Bessemer so they could meet Sienna. Sam was a happy little boy and Jill got some snuggle time in with Sienna.
While we were chatting down at the park, Oma & Jan hiked a short trail to the top of this bluff and had a great view of Bessemer!
Bessemer Plywood!!
Uncle Dick & Aunt Cecilia's house in Ironwood.
On Monday we went out to Black River Falls and Sienna did her first 6 MILE HIKE! She was a trooper (as you can see). Took one nap on the way in, and another on the way out.
We hiked to Conglomerate Falls.
Sienna's nap on the way to the falls...hiking is hard work!!!
We stopped for a bit once we got to the falls and had some lunch...and a quick diaper change.
She loved it...must be the fresh air :)
Sienna and Mom at the falls.
Rested and on our way back to the car.
After the hike we went on out to Lake Superior. This fun bridge took us to the lake, and there were 4 playful otters below us when we arrived.
Lake Superior...aka lots of water.
Mom's old riding facility is on the way to the falls, so we stopped to take a look on our way home.
The ranch looks great...as always!
Our wonderful hosts :)
Aunt Cecilia took us to the airport for our trip back to California...Uncle Dick kept all the dogs out of the way.
