Botanical Bunny Hunt

The SD Botanical Gardens hosted a Spring Bunny Party today. There were 50 kids and about a dozen separate stations set up for them to explore or do an activity. At the end the kids followed the bunny in a little parade and got to find their own bunny to take home.

A quick run to Trader Joes this morning in our pink bunny pajamas. We lucked out because they were having a little egg hunt for the kids outside just as we arrived.

Step one..check in and pick out your bag. She wanted "lellow".

We met up with her bff Rhett and he wanted to show her the choo choo.

Bunnies named Hopper and Floppy.

The baby chicks took a back seat to the "caw caws". 3 females, very colorful!

Our first craft stop was to make her bunny ears. Markers and stickers...oh my.

Then on to get our bunny face. She actually loved it!

Picking out her flower to plant in the little pot. She picked the lellow one of course.

Filling it up with dirt.

Attaching the final touch, a ladybug.

Ta dah!

Long sleeves came off for this one. Paint, glue, and glitter. Sienna got to decorate a coaster.

We made a hungry caterpillar!

In the parade on our way down to find a bunny.
She found a purple one :)
